Bizarre Newspaper Headline of the Day

From the Express Tribune website, thanks to MissingRomance. A windfall for journalists?

XYZ you're sounding more like the Ansar Abbasi of cafepyala day by day. It's probably just a technical error at the site where the Related Stories link sub header got attached with the main headline. No big deal. Take a chill pill and relax man! stop being lazy and find some better loopholes in the media next time.

nothing wrong with this one. It was laugh out loud funny. Relax Anonymous 11:21.

I wonder why people take non serious stuff so seriously?

Get the figures anonymous...the final pages in Tribune passes through five journalists, who are supposed to read every word of it...If that be the case, it looks like a real bonanza, windfall for journalist. Could someone please confirm when the PM really made that announcement? Many journalists may already be on their way to Gilgit-Baltistan to dig related stories. Who would like to miss that kind of money? Three cheers for Tribune.

Has to be said, Trib staffers are clearly the most thin-skinned twits working in journalism today :)

Most of the content management systems automatically link stories related to a topic with the help of key words and tags and you need not to pull them manually.

And as MKHNK pointed out headlines pass through several experienced hands before seeing light of the day. Even then there is a chance of mistake but interesting part of this headline is none at the ET noticed this until pointed out by cafepyala.

When I first read the story with funds for 'Baltisan Gilgit Related Stories' thingy, I took the headline as yet another effort by ET editors to be innovative with headlines, this time to say satirically that effectees will get the allocated funds by telling their stories
