Credit Worthy?

As promised yesterday on Twitter, we bring to you proof that Geo:

1. Monitors Cafe Pyala
2. Doesn't believe in giving credit

Below is a screen shot of Geo's Crisis Cell programme from last night in which the cricket scandal is being discussed. Please note the couplet in Urdu, just below the images, which kept flashing throughout the programme. Remind you of something?

I guess part of me is flattered. And part of me wants to say 'Yaar, credit tau de diya karo.' It's not like we're going to ask you for money you know.

Well there IS a possibility, though remote, of GEO coming up with the same couplet independently. There are many instances of this in science. EGG project has found correlations in random numbers generated by machines during significant world events. If machines can correlate I dont see why the human brain cant.

hmm, me thinks Dean Radin is the geo plagiarist himself :P

Kind of hard to take GEO seriously when they practice plagiarism themselves...

I suppose the "our media is in its infancy" refrain applies here :) But Geo should be contacted to let them know so that in the future, they at least cite their sources (what they should be doing is asking for permission FIRST and then citing sources).

Initiate campaign, to help move anti plagiarism laws in the parliament, only that could stream towards securing intellectual rights, I am in no way supporting any political party. But looking at the current situation only MQM has educated cadre and can voice for anti- plagiarism laws. Just like they are about to move anti - Feudal Bill in the parliament. Which may very well be quashed now since 70% of parliament is feudal, but at least it is a good beginning.

I saw the program, and thought Sana Buccha was probably your friend and you had ALLOWED her to use the couplet, and she was of course safeguarding your anonymity :-P
